Visitor Information Centre
The Ararat and Grampians Visitor Information Centre is housed within the upgraded Ararat Railway Station on the Western Highway.
The Centre is the main provider of visitor information in Ararat.
Through a partnership of both permanent and volunteer staff, the Ararat Visitor Information Centre is dedicated to providing a warm welcome and to enhancing the region’s reputation as a friendly place to visit.
Recognised as the Gateway to the Grampians, Ararat also plays a pivotal role in promoting the hugely popular and internationally acclaimed Grampians (‘Gariwerd’) National Park and its hinterland.
Opening Hours
The Ararat Visitor Information Centre is open 9.00am to 5.00pm daily and is closed on Christmas Day.
