Our inaugural market saw more than 500 people experience the great food, fantastic wines, amazing arts and products, music and entertainment from 17 talented local makers and producers.

Markets for 2016/17 will be announced soon!

The Makers & Growers Market is held at the Ararat Town Hall precinct, outside the Ararat Regional Art Gallery between 9am and 1pm.

Becoming a Stallholder

Our requirements are simple; if you live in the Ararat, Pyrenees or Grampians regions and if you designed, made, grew or produced it yourself, you can sell it!

To express your interest at becoming a stallholder, click here to complete our application form.

Once your application has been received, site offers will be based on assessment of meeting our criteria and availability. As places are limited, we may preference some stall holders if there are several in a very similar vein. This is to ensure an interesting, varied and vibrant mix of stalls. Re-sellers are not permitted, unless products are from a pre-approved community-based organisation.

The selection of stall holders for the market is based on the following selection principles:
* Hand-made or crafted by the stall holder
* Maker or producer lives in the Ararat or surrounding regions
* Quality of work
* Uniqueness or creativity of the product
* Contributes to the market’s product diversity.
* Has the required insurance and any necessary registrations and or licences
We reserve the right to exercise discretion in approving applications.

If your application to become a stallholder is successful, our friendly team will contact you with a link for payment of your site and further details regarding your stall requirements.
