Ararat Regional Art Gallery
Located in the heart of Ararat in the historic Town Hall building, Ararat Regional Art Gallery offers an exciting program of exhibitions across all areas of the visual arts. Established in 1968, the Gallery has a unique place amongst Australian public galleries through a longstanding commitment to supporting and promoting contemporary textile fibre art.
The Main Gallery features major touring and in-house curated exhibitions that highlights the work of established professional artists, including leaders in the contemporary textile fibre art field.
Gallery A is devoted to the presentation of smaller exhibitions by local and visiting artists, community projects and aspects of the permanent collection.
